A month at home! What a reprieve.

We spotted our first sign of trouble in the neighborhood: A gang of young raccoons. At one point in the summer, one of them spent the night in our garage after I accidentally left the door open. Glory is still suspicious.

Glory won the cutest dog in Plano contest. As if there was any real competition.

Speaking of Glory, she discovered a new way to enjoy family time on the couch and we’ve not sat without a dog laying on us since.

Our fence started to tell us it was well-past time to replace it. Goodbye to another 30-year-plus-old part of our home.

We once again treated our runners to new swag: An awesome club t-shirt!

We were shocked to come home from a Saturday run and discover a home in the neighborhood burnt down overnight. We had slept through all of the sirens.

The summer heat and sun were so intense that our elephant ears were getting sunburned. I improvised a sunshade which worked very well.

After 23 years in Plano, Kelly got his first library card!!!
