May 2018 Wrap Up

If May could be summed up in one word it would be: Travel. Or maybe: Exhaustion.

We explored Mammoth Cave.

We stayed in a cheerful camper (Pinky’s Cram-A-Lot Inn) in Corbin, KY.

We visited the original Sanders Cafe where the recipe for what became KFC was perfected.

We hiked to the top of Natural Bridge in the Daniel Boone National Forest.

We ran the Flying Pig (half and full) Marathon in Cincinnati.

We went to Graceland in Memphis, TN.

I was interviewed for an upcoming article about staying healthy and running.

I went to Nashville for a conference and Kelly tagged along.

We ate lunch at Woolworth’s on 5th, site of the Nashville Sit-Ins.

I spoke at a conference in D.C. and met up for dinner with some of my longest-friends from childhood.

Back at home, the team practiced C-Sketching for creative brainstorming.

We placed flags at the DFW National Cemetery for Memorial Day.
