May 2022 – Wrap Up

May was super busy, which made it go by in a flash.

Employee Appreciation Week always brings fun opportunities to visit our facilities and take care of our teammates.

Coldplay returned to Dallas!!!

This concert brought us so much joy. It was wonderful.

We followed the concert up with a trip to see the Interactive Van Gogh exhibition. It was also wonderful.

We fit in a quick run with friends.

Birthday month kicked off with a celebration of all things Missy.

We had one more runcation in store before the Galloway season started. First: Sioux City, Nebraska.

Then Baltic, South Dakota.

Then a surprisingly cold Wahepton, North Dakota.

Three more states run and done!

It was wonderful to see many familiar running faces, and to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Mainly Marathon running organization.

We’ve been working hard, so the Executive Team at work took a day out of office to “Disconnect to Reconnect.” This photo makes me laugh every time I see it. I call it “Rachel and Her Squad.”

Work then fancy times … representing the City at the Japan-America Society of DFW awards dinner.

Birthday month continued with a celebration of all things Phyllis.

The month ended with one of our favorite things: Placing flags at veterans’ graves at DFW National Cemetery. I had to do it by myself since Kelly was sick. (On our anniversary, too!)
