September 2020 Wrap Up

Ah….September. AKA a much better month than August.

Example One: Oliver finished his medication regime and started being sassy and healthy again. And his surgery shaved legs were ever-so-cute.

Example Two: Mom sent me a box of my letters from college and I realized just how much I’ve grown up. I also wish I could step back in time and give some encouragement to my worried self-conscious younger self.

Example Three: I finally got our curtains altered, lined and hung in the master bedroom. That meant I could finish hanging artwork. Project New Master Bedroom (finally) complete!

Example Four: Oliver’s “Homeschool Glory” efforts continue with mixed success. Glory thinks they are friends. Oliver says the jury is still out.

Example Five: Lots of snuggles make any meeting go better.

Example Six: Tons of beautiful sunrises to enjoy.

Example Seven: TEAM HAPPY HOUR!!!

Example Eight: Tragic wildfires in California had a side benefit of beautiful sunrises for us in Texas.

Example Nine: Jasper started relaxing and exploring being nearer to Glory. No miracles yet, but we’re giving it time.

Example Ten: The Nephew likes a girl enough to bring her home to meet the family!!!

Example Eleven: Someone brought donuts to the office. That hasn’t happened since February.

Example Twelve: The weather got cool enough for cat scarves, naps and snuggles.

Example Thirteen: Sadly, life has the normal routine of births and deaths. We said goodbye to Hoyt and rejoiced he’s free from the fog of dementia.

Example Fourteen: Baby bunny nests have returned to the backyard – and we were able to rescue them from Glory’s death grip discovery!
