April 2020 Wrap Up

April 2020. AKA the month where everything stopped and simultaneously I’ve never been busier or more stressed. COVID-19, you restructured life in a way we’d never experienced before.

The EOC became my new office. Ironically closer to home than my normal office, but I was away from home more than ever.

Gave up wearing my regular wedding set in favor of a ring easier to wash.

We discovered bee pollen does help with allergies and is more tolerable if you put it into capsules.

Church by Zoom, TEDxPlano by Zoom, Family time by Zoom, Fundraisers by Zoom, Team meetings by Skype. Awesome but my eyes and brain are exhausted.

Squirrel incursion – a house soffit problem, that simultaneously brought entertainment and frustration for the boys.

New bedroom rug and new road, curb and sidewalk.

Boredom means progress on holiday related crafts.

Our video project got noticed by John Krasinski (and team).

We went on so many walks!

Through it all the boys lived their best life.

A friend and I hosted a virtual bourbon tasting to raise money for a local non-profit.

Gas got really cheap.

We enjoyed a pastor appreciation drive-by in the truck.

Oliver put in his best Work From Home effort.
