September 2019 Wrap Up

September was here and gone in a flash – mostly because we spent most of it living in chaos. From living out of a suitcase to living with all of our furniture crammed into just a few rooms, it was hard to feel like things were normal. But now … ahhhhhhhh.

We started the month with a trip to Denver for a conference.

While in Denver, we enjoyed a brewery tour.

And got in some great runs along the Cherry Creek Trail.

We also stopped by UDG’s classic Tabor Center project. (MEMORIES!!!)

Then we headed to Longmont to run the American Heroes half/full. It was the hardest race we’ve ever completed.

But we got it done and earned our medals (Challenge Coins, actually).

Then we came home and jumped right into a major home renovation project. After years of savings, we replaced a majority of the lower level with hardwood floors.

Which got very crazy before it finished. Thankfully it only took 7 days to complete – not the 12 they budgeted.

WE LOVE OUR IMPROVED HOME!

But the month wasn’t over just yet. We celebrated the grand opening of our newest Plano park – Winhaven Meadows.

And I met up with Plano Magazine’s Girl Bosses. It’s our alumnae gathering.

We cheered K when she graduated from Leadership 21. (YAY!)

And we hit a 25th anniversary party.
