Doll and Stuffed Animal Bandaids

This is a super-easy craft project. Literally you can whip up several of these in a couple of hours, and provide hours of fun for any littles who want to help their stuffed friends’ boo-boos.

I’m totally indebted to this site for the idea, which I pinned to my craft Pinterest board eons ago.

Grab a couple of pieces of felt – bonus points if one is tan like a standard bandaid. You’ll need thread that coordinates with your bandaid color and sew-on Velcro, loop-side only.

Cut out several bandaid shapes – I grabbed a real one from our medicine box to give myself a general idea of shape and proportion. Cut the white felt into squares that will fit in the center of the bandaid.

Next, stitch the white felt onto the bandaid. A super-simple sewn box shape with a two-stitch back stitch to lock the threads in place will do.

Next, sew the loop side of the Velcro onto the bandaid “inside.” The loops will attach to the felt and hold it in place – securely enough for tons of playtime fun.

See how fun these look?!? I’m going to tuck them inside toy medical kits for a simple make-believe playtime gift.
