December 2018 Wrap Up

No matter how I try to slow down and enjoy the Christmas season, December is typically the fastest and busiest month of the year. 2018 was no exception.

Facebook Community Leadership Circle DFW named me keynote speaker of the year.

We happily led our church in the lighting of the first advent candle of the countdown to Christmas.

My team celebrated Christmas together with a fun lunch.

The City thanked all our employees at the annual Team Plano holiday luncheon.

We celebrated the end of the 2018 Dallas Galloway season with tacos, coffee and awards.

Bridget got very sick. She also got better.

I made so many pies. If you count pies for Thanksgiving, I made 6 pies in 5 weeks.

I also made so many loaves of poppy seed bread. 25, to be exact.

I also made 3 jewelry trees – one for me and one for each of my sisters. No regrets at all about this project. I love them!

We went to Kansas to celebrate Christmas with my side of the family.

Kelly drove 8 hours home, then ran 29 miles to train for an upcoming marathon.

We (virtually) welcomed a new nephew to the family. Hi C.!

We went to Tyler to celebrate Christmas with Kelly’s side of the family.

The annual burning of the grievances on New Year’s Eve. Goodbye bitterness, hello hope and renewal found through God’s grace!
