October 2018 Wrap Up

Whew – finally back up to date on the blog. Travel throughout the fall, plus a full schedule at work kept me from the important things in life.

Things like sitting and holding Oliver, and updating the Hayley Daily.

Love Plano went a little bit rock and roll.

I participated in my first National Night Out. The Kings Ridge neighborhood knows how to throw a party!

Two nights, two grand opening fetes, one week.

Host a TEDxPlanoSalon on the fly? Sure!

Marathon #49 for Kelly – Chicago!

It’s not fall in Texas if you don’t visit the State Fair. It rained all month, but we lucked out and went on the one dry day.

Speaking of rain – we’d never seen White Rock Lake water levels so high.

I finally found a way to explain what local government communicators do.

After years of searching, I found my favorite burger place. Rodeo Goat’s choice of decor may played a small role.

Best most OTT Boss’ Day ever. LOVED IT!

Updating the race travel map is getting pretty fun.

Apparition Expedition was pretty fun, too – especially Phantom spotting around downtown.

Dinner on the Farmstead was one of our favorite events of the fall.

Back out for another dinner party and awards ceremony. Glad my Plus One could go with me!

Our first-ever Trunk or Treat. I think we nailed our ocean theme.

Not going to lie. Pretty proud of these.
