I’d forgotten how much I love planning parties. I’m glad we had a new baby joining our work team family so I had an excuse to throw a book-themed baby girl baby shower.
The invitation was super easy to make, because I found amazing free for download invitations designed by Anna Bond of Rifle Paper Co and I was able to customize them in Photoshop for our party.
We pulled classic children’s book quotes, printed them on nice card stock and hung them around the conference room. An incredibly talented coworker made a diaper cake. (Who doesn’t need lots of diapers with a new baby on the way?!?)
All of the food items got their own menu card, themed to a book.
By the way, these homemade strawberry cupcakes with frosted animal cracker toppers were the cutest thing ever!!!
We tossed balloons around the conference table and had an all-around great time.
We also played a super-fun game I found…some of the answers are a little tough!
