July 2018 Wrap Up

Ah July … so much less stressful. So much more time at home. Just what the calendar and mental health professionals ordered.

The team celebrated 7-Eleven Day with a walk for free slurpies.

I was the keynote speaker for the Facebook Community Leadership Circle DFW July meeting. The focus? Maintaining community while maintaining your sanity.

We hosted a super fun book-themed baby shower for one of our team members. I’ll show that off in a separate post … mostly so I never forget all of the very extra things we did to make it awesome.

We helped our good friend Steve celebrate his birthday. (So lucky to have good friends who are good colleagues!)

Summer heat became brutal – hot enough to melt butter!

We enjoyed a nice birthday dinner out at Princi Italia in Plano.

Time for new furniture! We bought a sectional for the family room – Oliver voted yes before we could even put it together.

We celebrated our birthdays with lots of friends and family at one of our favorite restaurants.

Bridget was sick for a couple of weeks so we took her to the vet. She’s healthy as can be … we think this cat will never die.
