February 2018 Wrap Up

February is the shortest month and thank goodness for that…otherwise we’d be crazy from all this activity. We are doing better at saying no, though.

Ladies Night Out – discussing dreams while enjoying a lot of laughs.

Annual running of the Hot Chocolate 15k. Kelly nearly bested his best 15k time from 8 years ago and I still run this race, despite not really liking chocolate.

New church home – after 20+ years as members at HGBC. It was time to plant in a smaller church. We love this multicultural church where everyone literally knows your name.

Getting Started 5k program with our largest group ever (41 runners) – and we did kick-off in freezing temps.

My first (of many more to come) Facebook Live Q&A.

Another State of the City in the books.

A long-delayed team holiday party and HUGE THANK YOU celebration for lots of hard work and survival of hard times.

Oliver reaches new heights of terrible behavior. We put him in extended alone-time therapy.

The team does an amazing job of leading social media training for our organization.

Texas-FEMA PIO training (3 days!) for the team. Now on to the week-long advanced training…
