1. We bought Baby Sister a knife set for Christmas. She, in violation of the No Buying Long Desired Items Before Christmas rule, bought herself the same exact set in a Black Friday sale.
2. Baby Sister bought us a getaway package to a Texas golf resort. That same golf resort contacted me last week to see if I’d like to stay a night at their property and review their meeting facilities. (Her gift + that offer = a long weekend getaway for us!)
3. I just realized that the first part of my parents’ address is 3705. The Hayley House is 3709. Want to guess how many times envelopes have been misaddressed between various family members since we moved?
And, of course, none of that compares to the littlest niece and nephew’s shock that Grandma Mo and Pepaw Jay knew exactly what helmets they wanted to go with their new push-scooters for Christmas.
