Yesterday afternoon I sent out my final (hopefully) huge deadline-item for 2010 at work. I even finished slightly early…what a shock!
Then I was able to sell our basketball tickets – for the full asking price – two days before the game.
So off I headed home, without taking any work with me for the first time in two months. At home, The Boy and I finished making and wrapping gifts for our colleagues, caught up on two weeks worth of laundry, filed a large stack of paperwork, shredded miscellaneous documents and watched the shows that had been languishing on our DVR.
And we went to bed early.
I have to confess – I feel somewhat adrift without a mountain of things that MUST BE DONE.
