I am a list maker. And a sub-list maker. And a sub-sub-list maker.
It’s a bit of an obsession, I know.
But while making lists may only give me an illusion of control over my crazy life, there is one very tangible benefit of having a list: crossing things off.
And this weekend was a major opportunity for me to cross things off the list. Like, for example, correcting another minor annoyance about our guest bathroom: the toilet roll holder.

Obviously, it was desperate need of updated styling. Worse yet, it also appeared to be perpetually on the verge of falling off the wall.
Not exactly the look I wanted to have in the guest bathroom.
So off I headed to the big box home improvement store for a new toilet roll holder that matched the best of my upgraded fixtures (here and here).
