Bring It On

Yes, tomorrow is Monday and it’s the waning hours of the weekend.

I haven’t made up my bed even once over the weekend. (Shocking! No…really. Shocking!!)

I have a load of clean clothes in the washer and another in the dryer. I’m not feeling inclined to make the swap.

However, my two-weeks-into–five-weeks-of-Physical-Therapy Bum Leg felt so much better today that I celebrated by avoiding the prescribed stationery bike and going for a 6.5 mile (slow-paced) walk on the treadmill.

And now I’m sitting with my leg propped up on the ottoman and my favorite vegetable balanced on my ankle.


But never you mind. I am In Control.

  • I have packed my gym bag for the morning.
  • I have moved my belongings into the correct colored purse to match my outfit.
  • I have packed lunches.
  • I have made Rice Krispie Treats for the family.
  • I have prepared three freezer meals for the week.

I may not be happy that tomorrow is Monday, but I’m ready for it. Bring it on.

And watch out world – she’s on her way.

    I'm glad that the therapy seems to be going well, and I'm really looking forward to the day when you can run again.
