Kelly’s folks are here with us for a weekend visit. We were talking after supper about last weekend’s surprise festivities.
I finally said: Didn’t you read my blog posting?
The answer? We don’t even have time to check our email.
Then the shocker came from Kelly: I don’t even read the blog.
What?! I said. You don’t read our family blog?
His reply:
Why would I read the family blog?
I’m living the life written about on the family blog.
Heck, I help write the screenplay.
I don't read your blog, either.
Cuts like a knife!
You know better. I'm more like a cyber-stalker.
I wait anxiously for each update. See? I came back already to see if you'd replied.
Ah – the perils of having company. No time to get on the computer!!!
Okay – I just have to say, I don't buy Kelly's excuse. You write about more than just him. Sure, he may have a "leading role," but it's not all about him. I suppose this means you could say just about anything and get away with it … tempting to try, isn't it?
It could be a veeeedy interesting experiment!
