When In Doubt, Facebook

Stressful day. Well, not really stressful, but busy.

Very busy. As in:

Do this-do that-stop doing this to do that
Go-stop-what’s the next step?

While I was inhaling my lunch, checking email, and preparing to return a phone call, I hopped onto Facebook to vent via my status update:

Shannah Alloway Hayley wonders
how you prioritize when priorities keep changing
(and shouting ME FIRST, ME FIRST)?
And good old Facebook (and my 156 friends) came through with some wonderful advice:
  • My cousin: Delegate.
  • Old college chum: The principle of “rotated neglect.”
  • Old high school friend: Sometimes inaction IS a form of decision making. 🙂
  • Friend/former work colleague: The key to not shouting is for YOU to figure out what is first on the list…
  • Friend through a friend: Xanax

Unfortunately I didn’t have time to read any of this advice until after I met deadlines 1 and 2. But I do feel loved!
