We stopped by the new Hayley Home last night to inspect the work done to-date without stumbling over contractors in the process. We also rolled up our sleeves and removed:
- a horribly out-of-date cabinet-mounted toaster oven
- 3 jerry-rigged half-shelves in a kitchen cabinet
- childproof locks on all of the lower cabinets
Ok, so not a lot in the grand scheme of things, but we felt like it was a good accomplishment!
Driving home, I commented, “Gosh, this sure is a quiet neighborhood!”
Kelly replied, “Well, to be fair, we’ve never seen them at Mardi Gras.”
And we haven’t been for a visit, yet.
What’s stopping you? We need to break it in properly!
