It's been an amazingly productive week, both personally and professionally. Strange how that can sometimes happen in a four-day work week.
My grocery list is written and ready for the weekend. Dry cleaning is ready to be collected on the way home tonight.
The Boy is getting a haircut this evening, before his natural curls threaten to take over.
I've "watered up" all week in preparation for tomorrow's 23-mile training run. And we're starting that at 4:30 am, so I feel like I won't lose my entire Saturday to the effort.
For the first time in what feels like forever (including the long holiday weekend), I've had two consecutive nights of blissful, restful sleep. Credit for that goes to my friend B, who suggested taking a Melatonin pill for a while to get my sleep cycle back on track.
AND today is sports-team support day at work. For a $2 donation to the American Heart Association, I have permission to rock my favorite Dallas Mavericks t-shirt at the office.
