I’d forgotten how much I love planning parties. I’m glad we had a new baby joining our work team family so I had an excuse to throw a book-themed baby girl baby shower. The invitation was super easy to make, because I found amazing free for download invitations designed by Anna Bond of Rifle Paper […]
Fun
A Different Sort of Hayley Party
We didn’t throw a party at our house – instead we hosted at one of our favorite local restaurants. So many friends joined us for the afternoon, from church, running and a host of jobs over the years. We are blessed indeed.

February 2018 Wrap Up
February is the shortest month and thank goodness for that…otherwise we’d be crazy from all this activity. We are doing better at saying no, though. Ladies Night Out – discussing dreams while enjoying a lot of laughs. Annual running of the Hot Chocolate 15k. Kelly nearly bested his best 15k time from 8 years ago […]

Taking Time Off on the Course
Thanks to good friends, we had a wonderful long Memorial Day weekend at the Dean and DeLuca Invitational, held at The Colonial in Fort Worth. There’s nothing like mandated quiet, lovely (but hot) weather, whispered conversations and lots of fresh air to help you relax.
Pushing Tin – Well, Not Exactly
My time in Leadership North Texas Class 8 wrapped up in mid-May with a trip to the Joint Reserve Base in Fort Worth. While it was a long-haul from Plano, it was a cool place to explore. My favorite stop? The Air Traffic Control tower. The work the controllers do is just as cool as […]
