It only took us 10 years, but we finally replaced our floors!
The boys weren’t sure what to think – particularly when we moved all of the furniture into the “wrong rooms.”
Goodbye horrible carpet. Goodbye broken ugly tile.
Really. We’re not sad to see you go.
It’s surprising how big the house looked without furniture.

Oliver needed lots of loving to cope with the stress. Spoiled!
It took just over a week to do the whole project – but it felt like a lot longer, to be honest.
It was totally time to redo the half-bath floor, too.
WORTH IT!!!!!
We also took out the 1987 half-columns and put in a nice cased doorway. I am in LOVE with this new doorway!
The floors are AMAZING!!!! I totally love the change.
