It's hard to believe it's the day after Christmas. The Hayleys are heading back to warm(er) Texas after a chilly visit with my family. While The Boy focuses on driving, I'm contemplating when I should start dismantling our holiday decorations. There's a certain irony in the rush to decorate, followed by the all-too-soon pressure to put everything away. I'm wondering how tacky it would be to keep everything up until I have time to do a mass clean-up…that shouldn't be much later than Easter!

my kids have requested the tree stay up until New Year's Day. So … it will stay up.
Friday is my official pack-it-away day.
Ours was taken down and carted to the storage shed today.
Tree made it to New Year's Day … and is now in the storage unit. 🙂
