Dear Blogland,
I’ve been busy – the kind of busy that leads to slightly-but-not-overly-stressed-out, low personal creativity levels and no time to do anything that I’d actually like to be doing.
That really stinks.
But I would like to mention that I have been able to go to the gym every morning this week. {That’s more than a minor miracle!!} And because I’ve gone to the gym every morning, I’ve also popped into Starbucks every morning this week.
I also popped into Starbucks for a Tuesday afternoon meeting. But that’s a different thing altogether.
While at Starbucks this week, The Boy discovered (and shared) a new tasty treat: Salted Caramel Frappaccino topping in a drip coffee with hazelnut syrup.
Big big hearts for this drink, and that’s saying a lot because I don’t really like salted caramel, whipped topping or overly sweet coffee.
Slightly off topic side note: I actually tried the full-blown drink during my Tuesday afternoon meeting and found that it’s way too sweet, too full of fat and, in general, can give you a tummy ache. {Speaks from personal experience!}
But when the topping alone is put into drip coffee, where it rapidly melts (so no half and half or milk needed), in combination with a squirt of hazelnut syrup…ah, lovely!!!
I couldn’t drink it every morning.
But I did drink it one morning and loved it! Give it a try…it’s not on the menu. {Probably a good thing!}
