Just after we finished working on a bunch of home improvement projects, we experienced a disaster. The center set of blinds in our kitchen bay window fell:
Thank goodness there weren’t any kitties sitting in the window at the time!
Closer examination revealed that the blinds were mounted into the ceiling. The screws simply pulled loose.
The question is: what caused them to fall?
Could it have been caused by an excited kitty watching a squirrel?
Or by an excited homeowner, closing the blinds after a long day of home improvement projects?
Be thankful it wasn't a ceiling fan to fall! Maybe the house foundation is settling a bit. Was there a minor earthquake or tremor in Dallas this week? Did the kitties look guilty?
Based on the blurry picture, obviously attempting to obfuscate the issue, my conclusion is the guilty party must obviously be the latter. Just ask the kitties, they know!
Trust me, you can't believe a word the kitties say.
And they *always* look guilty. 🙂
I say it was the goose, in the kitchen with a spatula.
