It was just what the doctor ordered: rest, rest and more rest. With a bit of running (with a training group, for The Boy, and on the stairmaster from he&% for hill training, for me), grocery shopping, laundry and church thrown in. But otherwise, rest, rest, rest. Really. We were home long enough to catch up […]
Furbabies
Do You Think?
There’s no denying The Boy’s glad I’m home. He’s so glad I’m back after a week away that he went with me to an industry networking event Thursday evening. My husband. The introvert. Yes, that guy. Went with me to a networking event. Yep, he missed me. Side note: He told people at the event […]

But this weekend was one time where it appears that Bridget was holding Ben hostage in his tent, before they both fell asleep. So pathetic.

The Best Laid Plans
Super Sleet 2: The Revenge of Winter is on the way to North Texas, along with (for us) super-cold temps. And you know that that means: The Hayleys are preparing to beat the Hayley House penchant for frozen pipes. Before I left for work this morning (yes, work – unmovable appointment), I turned on all […]
