January 2023 was easy like Sunday morning.
By that, I mean it was everything you want a new year to be. Family time, friend time, fitness time and not an abundance of “stuff.”
We purchased a commemorative brick to remember Holiday’s life. It was installed in the Veteran’s Plaza in Plano’s Memorial Park.
We also took a weekend to bury Johnnie in his plot in Detroit, Texas. This marked the last of the “to dos” after Kelly’s parents passed away in 2021.
My year+ long Texas Certified Public Manager (CPM) program kicked off. It meets 2x a month, with one class in person in Arlington, Texas every other month.
We spent a very fun day as an Executive Team touring Plano by bus (school bus, that is!). It was a hilarious and informative day, bonding as a team and learning about our city’s development history.
It snowed!!! There was no better time to break out Glory’s new winter coat to celebrate my favorite team and keep her warm. She thought it was weird. Kelly said that’s because she’s a Cowboys fan.
