December was exceptionally busy, but the busy was centered around friends and family. That’s not a bad things at all.
Our last run of the Galloway season was cold and sparkly. Just what you’d want in December!
We don’t often get much of a fall, but this year was a doozy of color. Who cares that it arrived in December? It was beautiful and glorious.
It’s always fun to have worlds collide. A long-time friend from our days at Beck is now a consultant. Her specialty happens to be something we needed to learn at the City. It was a pleasure to bring her in to train our team.
Jim and Tammy, and John and Stacie joined us for the Behold the Lamb of God concert. There’s something special about going to your favorite concert with your favorite people.
We had a great group of runners at the Dallas Marathon. We love these folks!!
Out team decided to have a potluck to celebrate the holidays. Food, fun and fellowship makes for great work relationships.

For the first time ever we hosted our end of season party at a home instead of a restaurant. What a great decision! (Thanks to Edward for hosting so willingly.) Everyone had fun and it was a great way to wrap up the season.
An arctic blast (Winter Storm Elliott) led to us staying home instead of traveling to Kansas for Christmas. It was cold, so we spent most of the holiday weekend cuddling.
But all was not lost! We rescheduled a quick trip and packed in a lot of quality time over 36 hours. Glory Be was the big winner in Christmas presents – and she didn’t mind.
Finally we said goodbye to 2022 with Jim & Tammy, who hosted us for our annual Burning of the Grievances. It’s a perfect way to close the door on past hurts and frustrations, and look forward to the promise of a new year.
