This is a very yum version of our favorite 7 layer salad. It’s also flexible – add chicken, smoked turkey, spiced ground meat if you want to up the protein.
7 Layer Tex-Mex Salad

- Lettuce, chopped
- 1 can black beans, drained
- 1 cup frozen corn, thawed and roasted
- 2 cans black olives, drained
- Mexi-cheese
- Tomatoes, seeded and chopped
- Sweet onion, chopped
- Jalapenos to taste (optional)
- Crushed tortilla chips (optional)
- 1/2 c ranch dressing
- 2 t taco seasoning
Make the salad, adding each ingredient one at a time to build a layer look. Mix ranch dressing and taco seasoning to create an easy dressing.
