Recipe | Spinach Braid

This is the perfect side dish to the most simple of meals. Of course, it’s delicious as party appetizer, too.

Spinach Braid

  • 12 oz Frozen chopped spinach thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1/4 c mayo
  • 1/2 c plain yogurt or sour cream
  • 2 T minced garlic
  • 1/2 t sea salt
  • 1/2 t chili powder
  • 1/4 t fresh ground pepper
  • 1 t Italian herbs
  • 1/4 c fresh grated parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 c grated cheddar OR mozzarella cheese
  • 1 refrigerated thin crust pizza crust

Mix spinach, mayo, yogurt, garlic and spiced together. Stir in parmesan cheese and 1/2 c mozzarella cheese. Roll out pizza crust and cut in half. Spread spinach dip over half, leaving a slight border, and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese. Top with remaining half of pizza crust. Cut into 1″ strips, leaving 1″ edge. Twist each strip. Bake at 375F for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Serve plain or with marinara for dipping.
