May brought something back that we’d dearly missed: VACATION.
We started the month with Johnnie in the hospital. He had two strokes, but managed to rally and return to health.
Hard to believe, but we’ve had Glory Be in our lives for a year!
Also hard to believe – it was time to finally say goodbye to Mayor Harry after he termed out. Hello, Mayor Muns!
A quick weekend trip to me back to Missouri State for a weekend of fun with friend, professors and exploring my old campus haunts.
Why? Because Tami graduated with her doctorate!
Then it was time to help Mom and Dad with more decorating in the new Kansas house.
Our 5k group wrapped up in style – so proud of our latest runners!
We left right from running (after a shower of course) for vacation. First stop: Lynchburg, TN.
We spent vacation with friends new and old.
We spotted bears and listened to the air in the trees.
Most of all, we spent time sitting on the porch with coffee and the Glory Be – recovering and resting.
It was a perfect road trip with our new road tripping buddy.
