February was cold and miserable. And we lost a week of our life – along with electricity (and in some parts of Texas, also water and gas) – to an epic winter statewide storm.
Kelly’s biological father was admitted to long-term care at the beginning of the month. Our entire month was spent driving back and forth to NE Texas.
Winter Storm Uri was one for the record books. We left our cold house and went to stay with our friends, Steve and Susan.
