November. A month to forget, if we could have things our way. Dad A got sick. Kelly’s birth dad got sick. Kelly’s dad got sick. Glory got sick. It was just too much.
Jasper took his Life Complaints to a new level.
Glory Be turned ONE YEAR OLD!
Our front yard landscape started to get showy enough to draw compliments from the neighbors. I can only see the weeds.
Unthinkable. Greenberg turkey order canceled due to a catastrophic fire. Fortunately I was able to get our traditional bird in an emergency shopping dash to Central Market.
A quick 3-day weekend trip to Surfside Beach, Texas, was restorative but spoiled by news of 3 sick fathers and 1 sick dog.
Glory got her first chance to explore Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve. She loved it!
Runner problems never end. Grateful my time soaking a runner toenail has come to an end.
My WFH colleagues continued to defy social distancing regulations.
Thanksgiving for two, at home. Still tasty.
I decided to fight the bah humbug and decorate the house for Christmas.
We finished off the month by making treats for all of our neighbors (30!). It’s been fun seeing the cards and cookies coming back our way.
