I don’t like throwing out food, but sometimes you are stuck with leftovers of weird things. Like too much sauerkraut after a dinner of brats and kraut. What to do? It’s not as though I like kraut enough to eat it alone.
Here are a couple of ideas we tried that worked well:
- Stir 1/3 c. sauerkraut into egg salad.
- Stir 1/3 c. sauerkraut into potato salad.
Both are tasting and make for a fresh twist on classic dishes!
