March came in like a lamb this year and went out like the most bad-a&% lion we’ve seen in my lifetime.
Our spring vacation started with the Publix Atlanta Half and Full Marathon. Another state off the list!
We spent the better part of a week in South Carolina, site seeing, resting, enjoying local breweries, exploring Congaree National Park, sheltering from the rain and discovering local hidden gems (and eating all the fresh seafood we could handle).
We also ran the Myrtle Beach Half and Full Marathon. Cold, but fun.
Then it was back to Plano – and life changed quickly and strangely thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Suddenly we remote worked, EOC worked, Zoom churched, Facetimed family, visited our restaurants to go and struggled to find basic groceries in a single shopping trip. Odd odd odd times.
But still, as it does, life moved on. We finished decorating our living room.
The city started replacement work on our street, sidewalk and curb.
And the bluebonnets bloomed.
