I finally got around to filling out our warranty paperwork and discovered what has to be the most ridiculous reason to submit your consumer information:

When I showed the card to The Boy, his response was:
I can just see us coming home some day to
discover someone has broken in, and the
only thing they stole was our dishwasher.
Good thing we filled out the warranty card, right?
Right.
