The Boy and I focused on a very important task this weekend – rest. Much needed. Much neglected of late.
But I did make time for one important thing – going for my first run since the Great Broken Foot Disaster of Summer 2012.
I’d been walking for a few weeks to rebuild my foot strength and finally felt able to test it out. The Boy ran with me – he needed a short “loosen up” run after his grueling 29 mile training run on Saturday.
I wouldn’t say it was my fastest or my easiest 3 miles, but it was a run and my foot didn’t hurt.
I’ll take it!! Now to rebuild my endurance and speed…
