After living on a tight budget for so long, it’s hard to give yourself permission to do things that you really must do. Things like buying new clothes – even when your current clothes are falling off your body because you’ve finally achieved your BMI and have kept losing weight.
It’s hard to give yourself permission to buy nice clothes, in a correct size.
Let’s face it – it’s hard to know what the correct size is.
It’s also hard to give yourself permission to pay full price for something you’ve wanted for a long time, like these lovely riding boots:
But it’s important to keep things in balance: sacrifice and indulgence, risk and reward, thrift and investment.
And that’s why I have a new wardrobe – and new riding boots.
All you need now is the horse?
