It’s very odd how you can be in complete chaos at one moment, then in a relatively normal routine the next.
All it takes is a day or two to catch up on the “backlog” of stuff, plus a dose of exercise and relaxation. The next thing you know, your to-do list is back at a manageable length, you feel rested and ready to tackle the day and – thankfully – your brain starts to work again and you realize that you’re not a complete idiot.
Most of the time, anyway.
So that’s where we are. Things aren’t perfect – they never are. But things feel ok.
I’ll settle for that.
