In the midst of embracing the now is an acceptance of what can and can’t be done.
But that doesn’t mean that you don’t bemoan what isn’t getting done. I am a recovering perfectionist, after all.
Anyway, I’ve noticed that just when I accept that I can’t do everything, the help I need mysteriously appears. Like:
- The husband plans dinner
- Colleagues jump in to help with a design piece – from concept to execution
- Answers to long-asked questions are provided in a flurry
- Kitties are always available for lap loving. And that is always needed.
Isn’t that odd? It’s almost like a big old hug from life, right when you need it.
That's just awesome!
