Pay it Forward

For Christmas, one of my coworkers gave me this:

In the spirit of the holiday season, I decided to pay my gift certificate forward.

While I was out doing some last minute holiday errands on a day off, I pulled in to a very busy Starbucks drive-through line. It was so busy that another driver nearly sideswiped me as she was tearing through the parking lot to get to the drive-through entrance.

I figured that anyone that was that in a rush to grab a coffee really needed a coffee. So I paid for hers while I was paying for mine.

I hope the coffee treat gave her some joy and put her in a holiday frame of mind!
