Today is November 2, 2011.
On November 3, 2010, I started taking a multivitamin every day. Despite travel overseas, multiple trips out of state, funerals, marathons, late nights, crazy parties, work deadlines, holidays and, well, simply living, I managed to take a multivitamin every day for the entire year.
I don’t feel any better – or worse – for the experience. In fact, because I’m counting calories in an effort to shed a few stubborn final pounds, I feel like I merely had an unnecessary 15 calories a day.
So as soon as I finish this bottle of vitamins (gummy, thanks to the advise of Baby Sister who said it was as nutritionally sound as the horse pills I was trying to choke down), I’m gladly giving up this one-a-day habit.
