Another one crossed off the list: run a 10-minute mile. Because I’m an over-achiever, I ran 3.5 10-minute miles.
To be fair, I’m doing speed training as I prepare for my next marathon in November. I’m not running that sucker at a 10-minute pace, but I am trying to perform better and the only way to do that is to:
- Train.
- Run hills.
- Do speed work. and
- Find a marathon that’s not unseasonably hot.
I’m working on it.
I hear that the South Pole Marathon is never unseasonably hot!
Now there's an idea! I'd better not tell Kelly, or he'll add it to his MUST TRAVEL to RUN list.
