Things that have amused/bemused me this week:
- The delivery of homemade cookies to our office by building management.
- Which was only topped by the comment, I hope we ordered enough. (Let’s see..you’ve delivered five dozen cookies for our 19 people in the office. I think we might just scrape by.)
- Discovering that I’ve signed up for breakfast club the morning after I’m to make dinner for our Bible study group.
- Knowing The Boy is feeling much better.
- My friend Shelley’s hysterical blog post about Duck Launch 2010.
- Finally using the last paper cup from an ill-advised excessive paper cup order at work. It’s the small things – particularly when it’s 500 coffee cups that burn your hand when you use them.
- Catching up on podcasts. Finally.
- Listening to The Boy talk about the side effects of his steroid treatment – it makes him “Tired and Wired.”
- Wondering why I only crave Chick-Fil-A on Sundays…when Chick-Fil-A is closed.
