So what to do about with all the extra material from my chic-ifying table project?
Recover a chair!
I had a chair that I’d picked up from a friend to use in our new mini-office. It was fine, but the material felt a little heavy. {Can material be “heavy”? Does that even make sense? Anyway…}

The material had a chenille-like pattern. The solid cream color also felt a little blah for my now chic mini-office, which also shares space with our library.
No problem!
I just needed to unscrew the seat from the chair frame, remove a million staples and toss the old material. On went my excess fabric, trimmed, stretched, stapled and reattached.

Much better!
