I am an extrovert. Anyone who knows me knows this to be the case.
However, yesterday I was most definitely NOT an extrovert. I wanted to be alone…or at least alone enough to be contemplative. .
Unfortunately, we had a party in the evening that I didn’t want to attend. Fortunately, the party was hosted by our HOA so I was able to go for a while, then come back home and spend a bit of time alone.
Very weird. Very not like me at all. I guess I just needed to recharge after a busy week.
So what did I want to do?
1. Stay on my training schedule by going for a long run.
9 miles! |
2. Play with the furbabies.
Ben stalking Tang. Note that I don’t normally keep rugs rolled up. It’s part of the breakfast room makeover. |
Mom! Where did the laser pointer go? |
3. Work on the never-ending furniture makeover projects.
When will we have a breakfast room again? |
4. Enjoy listening to the rain.
Rain all day? No problem! |
Questions:
- How do you know when it’s time to recharge?
- What do you do to recharge?
Someone else in the family likes to take pictures of her feet?
To recharge – two words. Elk County.
