There are just too many glorious colors about to keep my neutral transitional wreath up any longer. And the fact that a butterfly lost a wing, which Ben promptly found and destroyed, had a little to do with it as well.
Such is life with cats.
As I mentioned last month, I’ve had a serious case of {love} for a dried pansy wreath I saw in the latest Williams-Sonoma catalog.
Wanted it. Needed it. Wasn’t going to spend $50 for it – plus I wanted to hang mine outside and their version was definitely designed for the indoors only.
- A leafy spring wreath form
- Assorted artificial flowers
- Wire cutters
- Floral wire
First, use your wire cutters to snip the flower stems at varying lengths. Wire cutters are more effective than scissors – quickly cutting through the thick plastic coating.
Second, arrange the base layer of flowers. When it looks right (purely a subjective call), secure the stems with floral wire.
