This year has definitely decided to be the Year for Snow.
A blizzard at Christmas, multiple snowfalls in Dallas and, again, snow when we have too many things going on to be delayed by snow on the roads of an unprepared city.
We opened the garage at 5:30 am to head to the airport (30 miles away).
Uh-oh, said The Boy. It’s snowing.
We got to the airport (and for me, back to the office) ok. And after 3 frustrating hours, The Boy’s flight headed off to Orlando. And after 2 frustrating hours with power outages at the office, I finally headed home in mid-afternoon.
Gosh! It’s a winter wonderland around the Hayley House!
It’s that lovely, sticky snow. As my mom noted, it’s perfect for snowmen and snow forts, but not good for snow ice cream. (There’s a rule about that, you know!)
Your house looks lovely in the snow–a lot better than bare ground in the winter! LOL
Yes, your house is beautiful in the once in a century snowstorm. That comment I heard on morning news and that Dallas had 12-1/2" of snow!!
