Just before bed last night, I told The Boy that I had nothing to blog about for Friday.
You should have blogs in reserve! he replied.
Normally, I do have blogs in reserve – funny stories that I’ve been waiting to share or a cute photo of the furbabies. But not this week.
This has been the Week That Will Never End.
So forgive me, dear readers, for engaging in a bit of a pity-party.
- My new Blackberry phone works very well – unless you think voicemail is a necessary part of a phone. Apparently, AT&T doesn’t feel that I deserve to access my voicemail system to set it up.
- My Macintosh, faithful friend and hard-working machine for over three years, has fallen ill. It now refuses to open any Microsoft-related product…including my email. Not such a big deal, as I can work on my laptop. But oh, all of my email records that are saved in the inaccessible database…
- Week One of teaching a new class for the University of Phoenix has begun! I have 40 students and I’m enjoying getting to know them all. But Week One is always full of challenges (Where do I find X? Why can’t I access Y? Professor Hayley, did you mean to explain Assignment 1 when the question was about Quiz A?). Sigh…
- We have thunderstorms. Enough said.
- Then to top it off, the person who was to have brought Breakfast Club today is running late because of the thunderstorms.
So, to sum up:
- I’m tired.
- I’m technologically challenged.
- I’m beat down by needy furballs.
- I have humidity hair.
- AND I’m hungry.
Will this week ever end?
