A Hayley Vacation: Day Four

Relaxing continued into Thursday, the first true day of do-nothing for all of us. Kelly went for a run and discovered which path was full of vomit-inducing chicken odor and which was only slightly tinged with chicken odor. While he was running, the sensible folks got in a bit of reading.


Most of the morning for me was a determined effort to correct pasty-white skin! Two blissful hours of napping in dappled sunshine certainly gave me slightly sun-kissed skin and a major case of lazy.
Others used the time to catch up on slow-day conversation and scenery watching.

Our friends taught us the Official Vacation Game, Phase 10. We played the game all afternoon and on into the evening. Small plug for Phase 10: it’s an easy game to learn, slightly frustrating to play and definitely additive. We.Must.Buy.A.Set.For.Ourselves.
